Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information LovePDFImg ("we", "us", or "our") handles when you use lovepdfimg.com (the "Service"), and what choices you have.
1. Your files
All of the tools currently on LovePDFImg - including the PDF, image and ZIP tools - run in your web browser using JavaScript. The files you select are read and processed on your own device and are not uploaded to our servers. We do not receive, store or have access to the content of your files, and we do not send file contents, file names or passwords you type into a tool to any analytics service.
Each tool page states how that tool works. If we ever add a tool that needs server-side processing, that tool's page will say so clearly before you use it, and this policy will be updated.
Because processing happens in your browser, results depend on your device. Very large files may be limited by your device's memory.
2. Information collected when you visit
Like most websites, our web host keeps standard server logs that can include your IP address, the pages requested, the date and time, the referring page, and your browser and device type. We use these logs for security, troubleshooting and basic capacity planning.
3. Analytics (only with your permission)
If you choose "Accept all" or turn on "Analytics" in the cookie settings, we load Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to measure how the Service is used - for example which pages and tools are visited, what kind of device and browser is used, and the approximate region of visitors. Google may set cookies and receive your IP address and device information for this purpose, under Google's Privacy Policy.
Until you allow analytics, the Google Analytics and Tag Manager scripts are not loaded. If you reject or later withdraw consent, they are not loaded on your future visits and we turn off Google's consent signals. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie Settings in the page footer.
4. Cookies and local storage
The Service uses one item of browser storage that is essential: it remembers your cookie choice on your device. Optional analytics cookies are set only if you allow them. Details, including how to withdraw consent, are in our Cookie Policy.
5. Advertising
LovePDFImg does not currently show advertisements and does not use advertising cookies. If we introduce advertising in the future (for example through Google AdSense), we will update this policy and the Cookie Policy beforehand and will ask for your consent where the law requires it.
6. Third-party services used to deliver the site
To work, our pages load some resources from third parties. When your browser requests them, those providers can see your IP address and standard request information:
- Cloudflare (cdnjs): open-source JavaScript libraries used by the tools (such as pdf-lib, pdf.js and JSZip). Only the library code is downloaded; your files are not sent.
- jsDelivr: the open-source heic-to library (version-pinned, built on libheif) used by the HEIC to JPG, HEIC to PNG and HEIC to PDF tools. It is requested only when your browser cannot read HEIC photos by itself, and only the library code is downloaded; your photos are not sent.
- Google Fonts: the typefaces used on the site.
- Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager: only if you allow analytics, as described above.
The social-media icons in the footer are ordinary links; they do not load those networks' scripts. If you click one, you leave our site and that network's own policy applies.
7. Contacting us
The contact page prepares an email in your own email application addressed to hello@lovepdfimg.com; nothing is sent to us until you send that email yourself. If you email us, we use your name, email address and message only to reply to you and keep a reasonable record of the correspondence. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent.
8. Your choices and rights
You can change or withdraw your cookie choice at any time via Cookie Settings, and you can clear cookies and site data in your browser. Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data we hold about you, such as access, correction or deletion. To make a request, contact us. We hold very little personal data (see sections 2 and 7), but we will respond to reasonable requests.
9. Data security
Keeping file processing in your browser reduces the data we handle. For the limited information we do handle, we take reasonable measures to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
