Our Story
We built LovePDFImg because we kept running into the same problem ourselves — needing to quickly merge a couple of PDFs, shrink a photo before emailing it, or convert an image format, and being met with clunky desktop software, paywalls, or "free" web tools that quietly upload personal documents to unknown servers.
So we set out to build something different: a collection of genuinely free tools that run directly in your web browser. No installation, no account creation, no hidden limits. Just open a tool, drop in your file, and get your result in seconds.
How LovePDFImg Works
Most tools on this site use modern browser technology — JavaScript, the Canvas API, and well-tested open-source libraries — to process your files locally on your own device. When you merge a PDF or compress an image here, the work happens inside your browser tab. Your files are not uploaded to our servers for these operations, which means they stay private and processing starts immediately, without waiting in an upload queue.
What We Believe
- Privacy by default. Your documents and photos are yours. Tools that can run locally, do.
- No artificial limits. We don't lock basic features behind a paywall or require an account to use a tool more than once.
- Speed matters. A tool that takes thirty seconds to load isn't actually saving you time.
- Clarity over clutter. Every tool page explains what it does, how to use it, and answers common questions — without burying the tool itself under ads or pop-ups.
